How far in advance should I order my invitations?
Because all of our invitations are hand made, you should allow 4-6 weeks for your order. Because wedding invitations should be sent to your guests 4-6 weeks before the event, your order should be placed 8-12 weeks before the wedding date. How many extra invitations should I order?
To be safe, order 5-10% over what you think you'll need. Then you'll have extras for guests you think of at the last minute, or to keep for a memory. Remember, when determining number to order, invitations are usually sent one per couple or family, not per person.
When is the last point we can make changes to our order?
You can make wording changes until you sign the proof form stating your order is just how you would like it. After the order is placed, however, any changes in color or paper will delay your order, as we will need to reorder also. So carefully choose the invitation you are happy with before you place an order.
How can I cancel my order? What is your refund policy?
Because all our work is custom, once a proof has been approved by you, the client, we cannot cancel it. Before proof approval, orders can be cancelled and refunds or charge credits will be given, less a $75.00 processing fee. Note: PayPal limits refunds to 60 days from date of purchase.
Can I make changes from the invitation shown on the order page? Most invitations styles have optional ways your can personalize your order. Changes beyond this become a custom order, and they are handled with different fees and time tables. If you prefer smaller changes, such as color or adding a monogram, you should contact us, and we will give you an estimate. Please note that all special accommodations MUST be included in the initial order, and cannot be added later on without additional costs and delays.
Do you address invitations for me?
At this time, we do not have an addressing service available. We do, however, print the address on the envelopes for the reply cards, and the return addresses on the invitations. This is included in the price of all invitation sets.
For more formal invitations, calligraphers can often be hired to do this in your own area, but be sure to give them plenty of time--at least a month.
Do you stamp and mail invitations for me?
At this time, we do not have that service available.
Do your invitations take standard postage?
The postage required on any invitation will vary with the number of enclosure cards, the thickness of the envelopes and the size of the envelope. We recommend having them weighed and examined by the post office before stamping to ensure correct postage. We cannot be responsible for the cost of additional postage.
How do I put seals on my invitations?
If you request a wax, or faux wax seal for an invitation, we will apply those before shipping them to you. If the invitation you are ordering does not include a seal, an additional cost is $1 per seal will be charged. Because we cannot put a seal on the outer envelope, and not all invitations contain an inner envelope, not all invitation styles are candidates for wax seals. Please contact us for questions about that.
Do we need to include a map, and how can we do that?
If you would like to include a map, we can include that as an enclosure card. You can order that on the enclosure order form. If you would like to include a map illustration, you will need to provide that to us, however. We cannot use a copyrighted image (such as MapQuest or Google) on the map. Written directions can be emailed to us, printed on the card and included in the set.
Can we do an e-mail or telephone RSVPs for our event?
Sure. That is a non-traditional option. If you choose that option for a wedding set, you will not need a reply card and envelope, and the cost of that will be deducted from your order. Please contact us for further information.
How do I set my RSVP date? The date driving your RVSP is when you need to have your seat count finalized to give to your venue and/or caterer. You should probably set your RSVP date at least a week prior to the date you need to provide a seat count, to allow for late RSVPs and for tracking people down who forgot to reply.
What are our different printing options?
We currently only have flat offset and electronic printing available. Different options are chosen depending on the invitation.
Can we get additional envelopes if we run out?
We will provide you with a few additional envelopes with your order. If you need more beyond that, we may be able to provide those also for a nominal fee. Please contact us.
How do I know how to word my invitations?
We have a wording page with several ideas, and suggest the website VerseIt . Some couples prefer non traditional wording to make their invitation more personal or casual--so feel free to write your own!
Why are some wedding invitations available only in sets?
The invitations available only in sets have pocket folders which accommodate other pieces of the invitation set. Without all pieces of the set, the invitation would look incomplete.
When are you open?
Monday- Friday, 10 am-5 pm CST. We are closed on weekends and holidays. We check our email often and reply quickly during business hours.
What kind of proof will I get?
You will receive a proof of the printed invitation in a .pfd format, or by mail if e-mail is not available to you. At your request, we can also send paper samples in the mail.
How will my order be shipped?
With the recent increase in shipping costs due to rising energy costs, we are constantly looking for reliable and affordable shipping options, in order to keep our costs as low as possible. Your time constraints and the speed of shipment is also, of course, a factor we consider when shipping. We most often will use DHL, UPS or USPS. Shipping options can be selected from the shopping cart, and shipping fees chart is located on the customer service page.
Will you ship international orders?
At this time, we can only ship within the United States. We hope to expand that soon.
Can you do rush orders?
Yes, we can, depending on your timeframe and our workload. Please call or e-mail us for an estimate. Additional costs may apply.
Can you print my return address?
Yes, it is included in the cost of your invitations for the outer mailing envelope.
What if I need more invitations?
It is best to order more invitations than you think you will need, because printing more is costly and time consuming. If you need more, please call or e-mail us and we can give you an estimate.
Do you have a catalog?
At this time, we don't have a printed catalog. We suggest you browse our invitations online.
What forms of payment do you accept?
Our site is connected to PayPal to accept credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover) and cash transfers. PayPal is a secure site, and you do not need to have a PayPal account to place an order.
Can I order a sample?
Yes! We encourage you to order a sample before placing your order. Due to the cost of producing and shipping the samples, we must charge a small fee for each sample, which is deductible from your final order, up to $24. The sample charge is listed by each invitation.
Do you have a minimum order?
In order to keep our prices affordable, we must order in quantity, and therefore have set a minimum order of 25 items for all of our products (except samples and gift certificates, of course). If you need to produce a smaller number than this, contact us for a custom estimate.
