Your party or wedding is a very special event, and often you need a special, one-of-a-kind, invitation to begin it in the right way. And they are less expensive than you might think. We will work within your budget to create a unique, creative, hand assembled invitation that will set your event apart!
Our custom orders are set up and processed differently than other orders, and here is how they work:
Interview: First, you need to contact us. We will ask you some questions to find out exactly what you are looking for, and the type of event you have in mind. Don't know exactly what you are looking for? We can help you narrow down your options as well.
Design Process: After that, we will ask for a $50 down payment to get your order started. Then we create 3 unique design concepts, based upon the information you gave us!
Proofing: After you select your invitation design, you will have opportunities to make revisions (up to 4 times) before the final proof. Custom design proofs will arrive via e-mail in a .pdf file format (or we can send by US Mail if you like). After you've chosen a design, we can help you determine paper, ribbon and ink choices. We can even send paper, ribbon and ink samples for you to see.
Cost: Once you've chosen a design, paper, ink and trimming, we will give you a cost estimate. The total balance is due after you have approved your final proof, before we start production. If you give us your budget at the beginning of the design process, we will design to fit your budget. And we can work within most budgets to get your invitation designed!
Ordering Time: We plan 2-3 weeks for the design and proofing process, and 4-5 weeks after that for printing and assembly, for a total of 6-8 weeks. Rush orders may be possible, but additional fees will be charged for rush work.
