1. Order a sample invitation set, if available. The sample is the best way to get a feel for our quality and style.  If you decide to place an order, the sample fee will be deducted from the final cost of your order (up to $25).

2. Look around to get ideas about what you want on your custom designed invitation.  Have no idea?  We have a questionnaire that will help you decide your likes, dislikes, style, taste and colors and budget.

3. Decide how much you can afford to spend on invitations.  The reality is that most of us have a limit as to what we can spend, and weddings and parties can be costly.  So we prefer to work within what YOU can afford, so we can avoid any budget overage.  We try to create your dream invitation...within the reality of your budget.

4. Decide on your quantity.  Plan 5% over what you'll think you'll need; it's better to have a few extra--printing additional invitations after the initial order will be more costly.  (Remember: invitations are usually one per couple--so 100 invitations for about 200 guests), plus extra for last-minute invites and a few to keep for memories.  We will also include a few extra envelopes for addressing errors.

5. Decide on your wording.  We've listed a some wording ideas to give you ideas, but you can choose to say whatever you would like (another  good resource is www.VerseIt.com .  If we are working on your design, you usually have a little time to get this worked out. Just email it to us at mail@funvitationinvites.com

6. Choose a font style from the font page---or let the designer suggest fonts for you.  If you would like to use a font not found on the list, we have others to choose from, or we can try to purchase that font for you (additional charges may apply).

7.  Then get in touch with us!  Email us (that is the easiest) or call us at 715-529-0020 and we will go through a questionairre about what you like, dislike, colors, styles, etc.

Then... wait for your designs! We will send you 3 designs of your proof! We will send you a proof of your order, along with a proofing checklist.  This will be done through an e-mail attachment (.pdf file), but we can mail or fax it to you if you prefer.  Once your invitation is how you like it, you need to  return it to us with any changes indicated.  It's important to look the proof over carefully.  Once you've signed off on the proof, no changes can be made or errors corrected without additional fees and extended production time. Once the final proof is back in our hands, please allow 4-6 weeks for delivery.  If you need it faster, please call us to determine if we can accommodate a rush job (additional fees may apply.)
